Research and test operating systems-level software compilers, and network distribution software. Plan, architect, deploy, or support complex client/server or base software systems. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Establish standards for a design, architecture, and recovery process that results in comprehensive, scalable recovery plans across multiple groups and services. Lead the development of high-quality specifications for solutions that bridge businesses and contribute to strategic visions. Lead design reviews and ensure that application designs adhere to architecture standards, overall roadmap, and meet customer requirements. Correlate and analyze problems by using standard and custom problem management tools and processes. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
? Education: Bachelor?s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
? Experience: Six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in providing technical support for databases and on-premise and cloud platforms.
? Education or Experience in: This position requires at least 36 months of experience in: SQL Server; SQL and/or T-SQL; at least 24 months of experience in: Azure; Azure Services; Azure cloud database services using SQL, PostgresSQL, and MySQL; CosmosDB; Cloud development.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSJASR17528), in Atlanta, GA, is $154,670 to $184,670.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
