The SEO Coordinator plays an important role in supporting our organic search engine optimization efforts. This role will develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO improvements to drive improvements in search engine rankings, traffic acquisition, new student applications, and enrollments. The SEO Coordinator will work collaboratively with multiple departments to support keyword research, content generation, and organic performance analysis across the student lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
? Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify strategic opportunities for organic growth
? Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-site elements to align with SEO best practices
? Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and data analytics platforms. Generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO strategies month to month
? Monitor Core Web Vitals and page load speed performance across multiple devices to meet benchmarks for optimal search rankings
? Analyze backlink profiles and support high-quality organic link acquisition efforts
? Collaborate with content writers and graphic designers to create, edit, and publish a variety of content types, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, infographics, press releases, and videos. Ensure content aligns with the SEO ranking, traffic, and student enrollment objectives
? Conduct organic traffic competitive analysis to identify areas for improvement
? Stay up to date with industry trends and search engine algorithm updates to adjust strategies accordingly
? Review and proof all SEO content to ensure all Federal, State, accreditation, and institutional policies and procedures are met
Requirements
? Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
? Minimum of three years of experience in a dedicated SEO role required. Higher education industry experience is a plus
? Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
? Working knowledge of HTML and CSS as it relates to SEO website maintenance tasks
? Minimum of 3 years of experience with SEO tools including SEMRush, BrightEdge, or similar platforms
? Minimum 3 years of experience using Google Analytics required
? A computer savvy and technical mindset willing to learn new systems. Proficient skills in MS Office software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Strong writing skills using best practices in marketing and persuasive writing
? Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals
? Takes a customer-service-oriented approach to recruiting and retaining students and collaborating with internal departments.
? Self-motivated, goal-oriented, assertive, results-driven, high energy, and highly ethical
? Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
? Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize
? Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours to accommodate business needs and deadlines
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

? Requires daily use of a personal computer and related software applications at a workstation

? Requires prolonged sitting and or standing at a workstation for 8+ hours per day
? Requires dependability and excellent attendance records
? Requires travel to conduct CIAT business, as needed
? The employee will be required to compute simple to simple mathematical calculations as a normal part of this role
