Who we?re looking for Toyota?s Program Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to set and achieve profit targets and ensure accurate cost/profit estimations throughout the vehicle development life. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Program Finance department’s objective to achieve… vehicle profit targets in support of overall NA Regional Profit Target. What you?ll be doing Develop cost and profit planning schedule, kick-off the estimation and follow up with each working group to identify progress and countermeasure issues. Identify gaps in the information by auditing results from each functional group and lead the team to resolve efficiently. Negotiate overall project targets and department specific targets with Chief Engineer and related department heads. Manage project schedule to ensure deliverables are met on time and ensure that the process is followed correctly. Create reports and effectively communicate issues to all levels of the organization (including Multi-Lingual individuals). Report project achievement status to all levels within N.A. organization (Up to NA CEO). Including new development projects and model life management. Daily interactions both cross functionally and across affiliates often at senior manager to general manager level. Strong relationship building, communication, and follow-up required ensuring schedule, roles and responsibilities, and deliverables are understood and agreed. Utilizes change management skills to negotiate standardized processes across NA. Lead the financial analysis to support changes in the manufacturing footprint in N.A. Examples of this studies include new plants, new production lines, capacity impact studies and localizing production from Japan. Work with Design to clarify change content of the vehicle/unit, estimate the cost impact of the change content and pricing to visualize the profit impact of the changes. Support the introduction of cost analytics to identify areas for further study and kaizen. Work with Plant A&F/PE to develop in-house cost estimations and establish cost reduction plans. Lead North American Logistics Control in developing logistics and packaging cost estimations. Create reports and effectively communicate issues to all levels of the organization. Develop Standardization of process and system improvements, data analytics, and Optimization tools. Support strategy to utilize data analytics to support Cost Planning Powertrain processes. What you bring Bachelor?s Degree (or higher) in Finance/Accounting or Engineering degree with related experience. 5+ years Project Finance Experience (Make vs. Buy, Business Cases, Corporate Strategy) 3+ years Bill of Material experience. Proven success in financial analysis, presentation, interpersonal, and organization skills Intermediate Excel (Lookups/Pivot Tables) Proven cross-functional team leadership and proven success in managing multiple projects with competing deliverables.
