We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team! This fully remote position requires occasional travel to the Bay Area. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and Compliance, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting key areas of our business operations, including human resources, communications, and executive support.
Key Responsibilities…
Operations And Human Resources
Assist in maintaining consistent hiring practices, managing job postings, and facilitating the recruitment process.
Support the administration of compensation programs, ensuring competitive benefits and salaries.
Serve as the go-to person for staff inquiries related to HR policies and benefits.
Track HR metrics and prepare reports to support management decisions.
Coordinate and develop staff training sessions and oversee the annual evaluation process.
Foster employee engagement and morale through various initiatives.
Manage our shared workspace in Oakland and travel to the Bay Area several times a year.
Executive Support
Help schedule and coordinate Board meetings and logistics.
Aid in the preparation of Board meeting materials and communications.
Manage the CEO’s calendar and assist with external meeting coordination.
Communications
Assist in drafting and editing communications materials such as press releases, newsletters, and social media content.
Update media platforms with relevant press coverage and announcements.
Support internal and external communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and messaging consistency.
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications.
Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, human resources, or communications.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Experience working remotely in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Proficiency in Google Applications and Microsoft Office products.
Location
This position is fully remote within the United States, with preference for candidates in California, Oregon, or Washington. Travel to the San Francisco Bay Area may be required 3 to 4 times annually.
