The Difference You Will Make
The Staff Program Manager will play a key role in executing our Team Effectiveness programming and other manager development programs as needed. Our focus is on impact and experimentation, creating world-class programs that enable organizational excellence. WeÂ’re employing best practices from learning science while experimenting with techniques like experiential learning, project-based and cohort-based learning. As we implement and experiment we will evolve, fine-tune and determine how to scale. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to develop scalable learning experiences that drive overall growth and development. Key to success will be the ability to synthesize a range of concepts into unified experiences, to establish systems and processes, and to deliver top notch program management and metrics.
A Typical Day
• Collaborate on and develop program strategy for various team effectiveness initiatives with other Technical Learning & Development team members
• Partner with other members of the Tech Learning & Development team, engaging our Learning Scientist, Facilitators and Operations Specialist to deliver programming
• Contribute to operational excellence by optimizing, identifying and recommending methods to streamline processes, tools, templates and scale communication channels
• Develop project plans and communication plans
• Create training materials, slide decks, job aids, and other assets
• Coordinate in-person and virtual logistics for learning and events, coordinating course enrollment and materials
• Measure, track and analyze the effectiveness of initiatives and programming using data to drive decisions
• Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders across multiple groups and geographies
• Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, senior leaders and external consultants
Your Expertise
• 8+ years of experience guiding strategy and execution in an L&D or HR program/project management role
• Success building and implementing programs and processes, and operational plans
• Demonstrated ability to manage several programs and initiatives at once, executing against a broad roadmap
• Excellent communication skills, with experience marketing and branding learning initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Knowledge of team effectiveness research and strategies
• Knowledge of learning science and learning experience design
• Data-driven approach to evaluating and measuring learning experiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills, with an ability to adapt content and conversations to meet the target audience
• Ability to proficiently use presentation technologies, google apps and spreadsheets
• Consultative and collaborative skills, comfort partnering with stakeholders, SMEs, senior leaders and external consultants
• Experience working with learning vendors and curation
• Exceptional understanding of Technology and Engineering organizations and how they operate
• Experience with learning certifications such as StrengthsFinder, Insights, DiSC, Situational Leadership etc is a plus
Your Location:
This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We’ll Take Care Of You
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
Pay Range
$150,000—$191,500 USD
