ABOUT THIS POSITION:
INflow is seeking an entry level IT Specialist to join our team! Here, your work is more than a job—it’s a journey in innovation. Duties
• Technical Support: Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, responding to requests via email, phone, or in… person. If a printer jams or Wi-Fi goes AWOL, youÂ’ll be the hero they need.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software problems. From forgotten passwords to finicky applications, you’ll be the one fixing it.
• System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, and network equipment. Regularly perform routine checks to ensure systems are running efficiently.
• User Assistance: Help employees with IT-related queries, ensuring they can work without tech distractions. You might need to explain how to turn it off and on again—patiently, of course.
• Documentation: Keep records of issues, solutions, and best practices. Create and maintain user manuals or IT guides for common problems.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage IT equipment inventory, ensuring everything is accounted for and in working order. Assist with setting up new workstations and equipment.
• Security Compliance: Assist in maintaining IT security protocols, including software updates, antivirus checks, and backing up data. Follow best practices to ensure our network stays secure.
Requirements
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen living in the US.
• Experience: No formal experience is necessary, but any internships, projects, or related work experience will give you an edge. Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and basic networking is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal—being able to explain tech stuff to non-tech people is a must.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, Wi-Fi).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common business software.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and skills.
• Highly motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Patience and a good sense of humor—because tech challenges require both.
