This role is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, aligning with the school districtÂ’s calendar, with immediate start dates available based on placement opportunities after completing the application process and training.

Responsibilities
• Access our educator portal to choose assignments that suit your certification and interests.
• Foster a creative and engaging virtual learning environment.
• Develop strategies to enhance student learning and build strong student relationships.
• Create lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Monitor and track student progress and performance.
Requirements
• Authorization to work in the United States and a valid New York State public professional teaching certification in any CORE NYS subject (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or World Languages for Middle or High School).
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A computer with a webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participation in a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration and submission of a background check as part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus.
